A Thank You Letter From A Snowball Mom
To All At Snowball Express,
Dear Snowball Express,
Three years ago when you all got started, I had no idea who or what was Snowball Express all about. I remember standing there and being so scared .I had just lost my husband In August 2006.As stood At the Tampa Airport and wondering and looking to see if anyone knew about Snowball Express,than I noticed a women and a small child I noticed that she was holding a military card .I walked up to her and asked if she was going to Snowball Express and she said yes we were so happy to know that we were going to the same place and we hugged and waited to board the plane .As we talked we found out that our husband are buried feet to head lol we joked about how my Dan had to smell Chris feet. It was so nice to meet Deb
.At that time my daughter was going through the dark side since her dad passed away, my son you could not get a word out at all.Deb use to tease Jen to come over to the color side lolThey both were so sad. and didn't want to be there but our causality family assistant insisted that we go so we did When we arrived it was wonderful to have people greet us ,We got in the van and there was another women with a small child she too had lost her love one 3mo, ago all three of us were scared ,num ,and wondering where we were going at the hotel there was a lot of confession but you all made us feel at home .
Later I went downstairs to eat and saw another women sitting by her self and child I asked if she was here for SBEand she said yes.We hit off so well too later we all got together with our children it was amazing.The second year I don,t know who was more happy to see each other us or the children .That year a bit better,3 year we didn't go .
But this year we went and it sooooooooooooooooo ammmmmzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the PHONE CALLS to make sure we are ok the greeting we got at the airport, the escorts ,the plane ride , the fire trucks ,the bikers ,the police the farm ,life seeing our friends from Texas,Tampa,New York, NJ and so much more OMG you all left nothing out !!!!!
(BEN &JEN)My children were laughing smiling interacting with other children I haven;t seen them that happy in a long time THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE GIFT OF THEIR LAUGHER!!!!!
And SBE thanks for the gift of my friends Deb,,Marcela Cameron Niss I love you ladies and your children so much ..SBE Jen and i look so forward of coming back next year!
And I pray for those who are afraid or num to come ,to please try it once you;ll be surprise how caring and loving (SBE)they all are.
So Again I want to thank SBE,AA,GSW,and The bikers ,the police ,Taps Everyone At DALLAS for everything they did for us .And thanks to anyone I may have forgotten.
